If you want to enjoy in speed-boating you can start doing so as soon as you arrive. In Croatia almost all European drivers’ licenses are valid. License is required for all motor boats exceeding engine power of 5 HP. If your boat has a radio communication system, the UKW frequency is prescribed.

If you are not in possession of valid license, one can be easily obtained on island. After successfully completing examination applicant receives official certificate. This license is also valid in Slovenia and Germany. The training lasts approximately 3 days at 4 hours per day. In summer there are two courses each week commencing on Sundays and Wednesdays.
